The 2024-2025 Budget Hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the MS/HS Auditorium. The Budget Vote will be on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the MS Gymnasium of the Middle/High School Building. Please make every effort to show your support to our staff and students.
Qualifications of Voters:
A citizen of the United States;
Eighteen (18) years of age or older, and not adjudged to be an incompetent;
A resident of the Brasher Falls Central School District for 30 days prior to the Annual Meeting on May 16, 2023.
School Board Candidates:
We have two vacant five-year seats for members of the Board of Education.
School Board Candidate Qualifications:
Must be able to read and write;
Must be a qualified voter of the district;
Must be and have been a resident (but need not be a taxpayer) of the district for a continuous and uninterupted period of at least one year immediately before the election;
May not have been removed from any school district office within the preceding year;
May not reside with another member of the same school board as a member of the same family;
May not be a current employee of the school board;
May not simultaneously hold another incompatible public office.
