As we begin to deal with the reality of COVID 19 in our North Country and Governor Cuomo has extended the school closure until April 15th, I want you to know that we are here for you.
In an attempt to take proactive steps to keep our families and staff safe & healthy by limiting the amount of person to person exposure, we are changing our lunch distribution schedule for next week. We will be providing breakfast & lunch for 2 days on Monday and Wednesday. One breakfast and lunch on Friday.
It has been a very difficult week. The norm of our educational routine and society has been disrupted. As we continue to adjust to the challenges in front of us, I want to say thank you to our school community.
Today at 12:00 we will be sending our school buses on their normal bus routes. The bus will stop at every house where instructional materials need to be dropped off. Each student has a labeled bag of materials. This may take some time, so please be patient.
As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 situation, we are focused on three main areas:
1. Student Safety & Health
2. Student Food
3. Student Education
Yesterday I released an update that focused upon meals and distribution centers. Please see our website or facebook page for that information. Today’s focus is on part of the instructional piece, technology.
