Students in grades 10-12 will have the opportunity to take the ASVAB exam on Tuesday, December 14th. This exam is used by the military to assess aptitude in the areas of English, Math, Science, Mechanics and Spatial knowledge. If you are interested in joining the military, this exam is required and your score will determine acceptance. However, this exam is also great for career exploration. If you are undecided about the career you would like to pursue, this exam and the follow up materials are a great resource to help with your decision making. If you are interested in taking this exam, please sign up in the Guidance Office by Friday, December 10th.

The music department at SLC will present All Together Now: A Global Musical Theater Celebration on November 12 and 13 at 7 pm. This is a musical revue featuring songs from a variety of musicals. The students have worked together to prepare a musical theater treat for our community.
We will be livestreaming our event, and an access code can be purchased at this website: https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/58212 You will need one access code per device. The cost is $8, and each night will be somewhat different, so feel free to purchase a code for each night!
We have 26 students in grade 8-12 involved, and we sincerely appreciate your support. The students will be able to present to a small live audience composed of family members. All others will need to participate via the livestream.
