3/11 - 3/12 (am) - The Class of 2028 would like to congratulate Ms. Winters' 1st period class for an average of 86% participation in this week's spirit days. We would also like to congratulate Mr. Cruikshank's 1st period class for coming in 2nd place with a participation rate of 77%. Both classes will be awarded a "pot of gold" for their outstanding demonstration of school spirit. Congratulations! Thank you to all who participated. From The Capital District Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Center: Positive Solutions for Families!

Are you concerned about managing your child’s challenging behavior but you're out of ideas or solutions? This training is for you! Developed by the Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL), Positive Solutions for Families is an evidence-based, user-friendly parent training series of seven modules to help parents promote positive and effective parenting behaviors. Each session helps family members understand and promote children’s social and emotional development and address the challenging behavior and mental health needs of children who are developmentally ages 3 through 8.

This is a free 7-week training for Parents and Caregivers. All sessions are from 9:00am-10:30AM on Zoom. By registering for this training, you are registering to attend all 7 sessions.

Sessions will be held on 7 consecutive Mondays:
4/13/26: Session 1 - Making the Connection
4/20/26: Session 2 - Keeping It Positive
4/27/26: Session 3 - Behavior Has Meaning
5/4/26: Session 4 - The Power of Routines
5/11/26: Session 5 - Teach Me What to Do!
5/18/26: Session 6 - Responding With Purpose
6/1/26: Session 7 - Putting It All Together With a Plan

Once you register, they will reach out and let you know your spot is secured. If the session is full by the time you register, you will be placed on a waitlist. You may be invited to attend if a confirmed participant does not finalize their attendance before the session.

"Champions Walk" @ 2:00
We will start in the HS gym, walk the main corridor (Superintendent's Hallway), past the HS Office, Music classrooms, MS Office and out the 5th grade doors.
The athletes will then walk to the elementary and circle through the school, heading right and through the halls.
We invite you to make signs and clap for the girls as this is an incredible accomplishment to become a NYS Champion!

2/12 - 2/13 - Cast and crew members of Mean Girls must turn in advertisement and T-shirt forms and money to Mrs. Fountaine by tomorrow afternoon.
2/12 - Attention middle school Extended Day students: Today we will be going over to the elementary school from 3:30-5:00. You will have a choice of swimming or going sledding out back of the elementary school. Either bring your swimsuit and towel or outdoor gear.
2/12 - 2/13 - Completed Seaway Tech BOCES applications must be signed and returned by tomorrow at 11:30 AM, due to the early release. Programs are highly competitive and spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so early submission is strongly encouraged. Students must be on track for graduation in order to attend the Tech Center.
2/12 - Administrative detention for middle school students will be held in room 214 with Mrs. Martin.
2/12 - Administrative detention for high school students will be held in room 146 with Mrs. Fountaine.
