Student Grading Community Update 5/1

Student Grading Update

We understand the challenges of students learning from home. It isn’t easy! Over the past month, I have stressed two consistent themes about our emergency remote learning:
Effort counts - we asked that students are at least trying to complete assignments
Communication - we repeatedly asked that you reach out to us if having difficulty

With the difficulty of emergency learning from home, flexibility in grading is expected. We took all of this into consideration and balanced it with a student’s responsibility to continue learning as well.
